How the Origin and Host Institutions relate

The proposed PhD programme is based on a co-tutoring scheme: each candidate will have two supervisors assigned (one from Latin America, the other from EU), and each individual PhD work plan will be developed jointly, to be carried out in both institutions.

A second original feature of this programme is the coordination of all PhD work plans to guarantee that they are based on joint research projects involving at least the two supervisors and their groups.
